Prateek Singhi

Prateek's relationship with the camera started when he was 16. As he got closer the intimacy grew. And a dialogue initiated between the two. Eventually the camera became his only friend and confidant. It developed to a state where the camera is today his eye for the normal world as he likes to put it he is blind.

Once he puts the lens to his eye, it reveals to him what others choose to ignore.

His friends now firmly believe he is weird or wired to his camera however one might like to put it. Even today when he's into photography for a considerable amount of time he takes the camera in his hand he feels inundated with images that urge him to tell their stories. Prateek firmly believes that a cure for any malady is simply to watch the sea and waves crashing head on and of-course taking pictures while the magic unfolds.

He looks forward to contributing to fine art photography and does commercial for a living but tries to raise it to an art form in the process. Outdoors, conceptual portraits and fashion also interest him.
