Ramnath Chandrasekhar

Ramnath Chandrasekhar's candid shots speak for themselves, as the young visionary tries to use photography as a medium of expression. He is a virtuoso of wildlife photography, capturing the subtle emotions of nature brilliantly. Attracted to natural beauty since childhood, he had started documenting natural history by the time he was of 13. He has since traveled throughout India with his father; photographing natural history, especially birds.

His images has been published in magazines like Smart Photography, Hornbill etc, while a special mention was attributed to him at the Sanctuary Asia Magazine's Wildlife Photography Awards. He is mentored by wildlife filmmaker Shekar Dattatri.

 

He is currently a student of Zoology at the Madras Christian College . He envisions photography as a medium of Wildlife conservation, making the world realize the gravity of the issue with the help of his images. His works can be viewed at www.ramnathshekar.com
